Ministry SpotlightUsher Board The Usher Board sponsored a Black Histoy program on Feb. 10th at 4:00 P.M., featuring Tamala Soloman as keynote speaker. Tamala is a former member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Mansfield were she grew up. She is also the daughter of Marion Solomon and the late Elizabeth Solomon of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. The Children Church particapted in the program with Alexis Briggs proforming a Praise Dance to "There is a Name by Byron Cage". Link Briggs Jr. dressed as Muhammad Ali gave us the history of the Greatest Boxer there ever was. Tyon Evans the grandson of Minister Henry Henfield played a drum solo. Master Moses Burnom recited an orginal poem "Freedom isn't Free". The program was very uplifting and family and friend from the community was there in support. |
